Pre′ject (prē′jĕkt), n. 1. A parental reject. 2. A person rejected by and disconnected from either or both parents. 3. A person living with a cracked, broken or shattered soul.
When a parent neglects, abuses, or abandons a child, that rejection creates an inner deficit affecting multiple areas of that child’s life into adulthood. By conservative estimates there are some 1 billion prejects in the world, with more than 100 million in the United States alone.
Prejects.org is a charitable organization dedicated to healing families by helping people recognize and overcome parental rejection. Our mission is to educate and transform prejects into PROs (parental rejection overcomers) via a suite of instructional services.
